Central to the rich liturgical life, we at St. Katherine of Siena our main celebration is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. As a faith community, we welcome active participation in our celebration of the Lord’s Supper and invite each parish member to become involved in a meaningful way. Participating in the Holy Mass through service during the Mass brings us closer to the table of the Lord.
There are many Liturgical Ministries to explore: playing a musical instrument, singing in a choir or serving as a cantor, reading the Word of God, being a Eucharistic Minister, ushering, greeting, decorating the church, being a server at Mass. + Acolyte Ministry
The Ministry of Acolyte is reserved for only faithful Catholic men, and Acolytes are installed by the Diocesan Bishop. Main service is to help the priest during the Holy Mass, requirements are that the individual must be a confirmed, good standing faithful Catholic, if married, it must be according to the laws of the church.

+ Altar Server
Altar Servers, both adult and youth servers, bring our gifts to the table of the Lord; assists the presider with the Roman Missal and the sacred vessels; assist with incensing, with the sprinkling of holy water, and in leading processions.

+ Eucharistic Minister
This sacred and rewarding ministry provides the opportunity to serve the Holy body and blood of Christ at the Mass. Requirements include that you must be confirmed, good standing faithful Catholic, if married, it must be according to the laws of the church.

+ Greeter Ministry

Greeters role is to offer a friendly, welcoming presence to those coming to worship; presenting the gifts, and disseminating the church bulletin.This ministry is foundational to who we are as faithful Catholics. It is not an add-on; it is the bottom line that brings us closer to the Table of the Lord.

+ Lector Ministry
These Ministers proclaim the God's Living word with a strong faith to fellow parishioners who are attending Mass. Must maintain the full Respect for the Sacred Scripture. Requirements to become a Lector; must be a confirmed, good standing faithful Catholic, if married, it must be according to the laws of the church.
